Finally got my film back! This is from cycle slaughterama 5 that takes place at Belle Isle every year. Hosted by the cutthroats.

I have been working on this animation all semester. Really hard, too! I’m sure there are bags under my eyes.. I just can’t see them because I’m blind from staring at the computer screen for so long.

“The Anti-Story Machine”
The idea came about when I was trying to think of a narrative to animate. As usual, my brain didn’t want to work with that, so I decided to embrace the anti-narrative that always seems to accompany my work.

This isn’t the final version. I filmed this in super 8 (what else?) and have sent it off to be processed - I will post that version when it gets back. Soon, I hope!

This is my current working version of my intro for the reel I’ll be sending out for jobs. This is what you’ll see once you put the DVD in, and then it’ll go straight to my menu where you can view one or two full animations. Let me know what you think!
